HDD Rodeo Showcase Organized by Benjamin Media
The HDD Rodeo is a one-of-a-kind event where directional drilling contractors showcase their skills and compete for bragging rights. Be a part of this high-energy event, which not only adds to the excitement but also helps promote technology and innovation in the drilling industry.
Six to eight crews, including Ward Construction - winners of the 2024 HDD Rodeo, will test their skill in completing a bore accurately and efficiently. Plus, crews will pullback pipe for an added challenge!

Damage Prevention LIVE! Hosted by Common Ground Alliance
Damage Prevention LIVE! is a one-of-a-kind, hands-on activation zone designed to demonstrate CGA’s core mission: protecting underground infrastructure through collaboration, education, and innovation.
This live, jobsite-style environment offers utility professionals and contractors a chance to see, touch, and experience the latest technologies and techniques in excavation safety.

NUCA Equipment Operator’s Challenge
The National Utility Contractor’s Association (NUCA) will bring together skilled equipment operators from across the country to compete in a series of hands-on events designed to test precision, control and safety in utility-related tasks.
Events will include crowd-pleasing games like hole-in-one putting, soccer, cornhole and a pipe placement challenge. All games are performed using construction equipment.

The ADVANCE Program for Women in Utilities Workshop
Join us for one of two sessions at The Utility Expo for a workshop focused on helping women advance their careers in the utility industry.

Important Transport Info
- Parking is free for attendees in 2025
- Attendee parking is changing. There will be no attendee parking on the north end of the show footprint. All attendee parking will enter the KEC through Gates 1 or 2 and will be on the south side of the venue.
- When using Google or Apple Maps, attendees should select Gate 1 or Gate 2 for navigation to the Kentucky Exposition Center
- There will be golf carts and trams providing rides from the further parking lots to the indoor registration area
- All hotel shuttles will drop off and pick up in Lot H, on the north end of the show footprint
- Ride share will drop off and pick up outside of South Lobby B
